Although I am new to this forum....and principally listen to the words that are posted here by what I deem to be true professionals....and most importantly experienced human beings I feel I want to offer up what this board is to an artist and just what it can do to help.
It's a time of great change among people, and there is no room for anger, hate, or pushing of opinion on others. It's a time of sharing. By sharing we offer up the best of one another in order to advance the medium(s) that we work within. As far as mediums go.....they are all meant to communicate messages. I have worked within media and advertising and have seen fragrant waste of intelligence and messages that are motivated by greed and control. The time for that is long past. We are now in the 21st century and are responsible for leading by example of practiced principle. There is margin of error or anyone to blame anymore. It all comes down to the individual and your choice. My choice is to contribute a sense of heart and feeling to a forum that I highly respect and enjoy going to every moment I get during the day and night. I'm grateful that I get a chance to do what I do and raise my little girl while doing it. I'm grateful to just be able to interact with talented people who I respect on this forum. It's here and now that we have a chance to really put socially responsible pieces out there that have purpose and can stand the test of time to communicate for years to come. I welcome interaction with anybody that wishes to put messages of hope and goodness out there for their future generations. There is no one to blame for any of hate or anger that has come up here.....there is only a choice to not ever let it happen again and truly be grateful for one another. There is no room for ego feeding here....this is a place for me where I feel that information is freely shared to ehnance the whole community of us who enjoy the medium of film and creative thought.
I just felt the need to express these thoughts at this time.
As an update I'm leaving for New Mexico in a few hours and have all my film, DVCPro(my DVCAM didn't come in so I was given a Panasonic DVC-200 with a Fujinon 20X with Anton Bauer Power!!!.....nice loaner)clothes and kitchen sink.
I'm happy that a lot of you were truly a large help for a long time....without this forum I'd have no where near the knowledge that I've acquired about the medium...Thanks. We will update our website in the next 60 days with new information and footage from our super 8mm camera.
Peace and Light,
Scott Nocella WWW.Worldharmonyunlimited.com
